Ginsters gets spicy with new empanada range
Snack time has been given a sweet and spicy kick thanks to the launch of a brand-new range of street food style empanadas by Ginsters.
There’s a choice of two trend-setting global flavours to choose from – both popular with British food-lovers and pack a powerful punch in the taste department – and at less than 100 calories per empanada, offer a lighter hunger fix perfect for snacking. The savoury-filled pastry empanadas can be enjoyed straight from the packet for an instant street food snack experience or can be microwaved and enjoyed warm.
The Ginsters Chicken Tikka Empanada pairs 100% British chicken in a creamy tikka sauce with mango chutney and chopped coriander. The filling is then wrapped in a thin light pastry before being topped with smoked paprika to finish. The Ginsters BBQ Pulled Pork Empanada blends 100% British pulled pork in a BBQ sauce with chipotle chillies.
A descendent of the traditional Cornish Pasty for which Ginsters is renown, the new empanada duo delivers a taste of global flavour adventure thanks to super thin pastry, deep filling and a spicy zest.
