From our origins in 1896, butchery has been the essence of the Samworth Brothers business. Over four generations we have maintained a reputation for producing the finest quality sausages and cooked meats.
Today, our Walkers Deli & Sausage Co. site in Leicester has four distinct facilities: sausages, cooked meats, pâté and bacon/snacking. We have over 1,000 colleagues involved in the preparation of well over 100 million units for customers, as well as providing ingredients to other areas of the Samworth Brothers business.

We are continually innovating, both through investments in new capabilities and in the creation of products that meet shoppers’ changing requirements, for both day-to-day and special occasion foods.
Our protein product range includes sausages, burgers, meatballs and sliced meats, as well as snacking, party foods and Christmas accompaniments. We specialise in premium ranges and are the largest UK producer of pâté. With unique and innovative packaging solutions based on the latest technologies, our finished products that take pride of place on supermarket shelves.
